Rachel Fooks Ceramicist & Pottery Class Tutor
Rachel is an established ceramicist who’s best known for her sea-inspired sculptures that seem to defy the laws of gravity! Lately, she’s been experimenting with making forms using locally dug clay and glazes made from plants, trees and sea weed. She’s a strong believer in passing on her pottery skills to others and so delivers a range of pottery classes suitable for all abilities.

Julie Herring Artist, Designer, Curator & Art Class Tutor
Julie is a multi-talented creative with a long history of working in the art and crafts. She has curated exhibitions for some of the biggest names in the creative industry. She draws on her varied experience and knowledge to paint atmospheric landscapes and production runs of handmade prints. She also offers a range of art classes with a focus on nature.

Peter Joyce Artist
Peter Joyce was born in Poole, Dorset, and was educated at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art & Design from 1980. He went on to study at Stourbridge College of Technology & Art and qualified with a Diploma in General Art & Design and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. He taught at the Bournemouth Arts Institute for many years, becoming Chairman of ‘Room 10 Painting Group’, and served as President of Bournemouth Arts Club. Joyce exhibits regularly throughout the UK, and previous locations include Bath, Cambridge, Winchester, St Ives, Surrey, Brighton, Cornwall, Poole, London and New York. His work is held in many corporate collections, some of which include Lloyds, National Westminster Bank, Reuters, Binder Hamlyn, Bank of China, Hill Samuel, Cleveland County Fine Art Collection, Russell Cotes Museum & Art Gallery, Poole Museum Service and Hampshire County Council. Private collections are spread internationally throughout the UK, USA, Canada, India, Saudi Arabia, and across Europe.

Timeline Arts Collector
Timeline Arts/Jo Long divides her time across the English Channel living in a small hamlet in the Vendée, France and in Swanage, Dorset. Formally Lifelong Learning Manager at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth (now the Arts University) and Studio Manager for her partner, the artist Peter Joyce. She’s been keen a collector of the arts over a good number of years including paintings, studio pottery, jewellery, mid-century furniture, French pottery and kitchenalia and is currently working towards curating exhibitions and pop up sales. Jo hopes to introduce you to some of her favourite creators and to share her passion. She has an eclectic taste, pots from the Leach tradition, porcelain, contemporary and domestic ware.

Anna Tayler Seamstress
Anna has worked as a seamstress for many years, although has only recently taken the plunge to make it her full time job. To date she has made over 400 dresses, shorts and sanitary ware for a charity helping children in developing countries. She also makes clothing for children and adults, ceramic dress making pattern weights and quirky freeform embroidery framed pictures. She offers the chance for people to come and learn how to use their own sewing machine, make clothing for charity, how to follow and make clothes from a dress making pattern and other fun projects.

Patrycja Walczewska Photographer
Patti takes stunning photographs specialising in maternity shots, couples, new born babies, children and pets. She has a unique talent for making people look amazingly beautiful, adding a touch of drama and romanticism to her photos.
